As aspiring martial artists, while padwork, group training, and sparring are of utmost importance, how we approach the gym and weight room is equally vital, and often under-looked. This time is an opportunity to target weak spots, correct imbalances, and fine-tune movement patterns. Every moment spent in the gym is a step closer to being stronger, faster, and sharper for when you return to the mats.
Muay Thai, the art of 8 limbs, demands strength across many athletic domains — endurance, explosive power, speed, agility, and resilience. This 6-week challenge combines endurance work, strength and conditioning, power-building exercises, and solo-friendly Muay Thai workouts to help you transform into the most well-rounded athlete and fighter possible. It follows a 5-day split that you can tailor around your current martial arts schedule or dive into as your first serious introduction to building a fighter’s strength.
Through the app, you’ll get access to every day’s workout plan, complete with video demos to ensure perfect form, and track your progress with reps and weights for progressive overload. Additionally, you'll have access to both at-home and advanced workout options to suit your needs. Even more exciting, we’ll have a community group chat where we’ll support each other, grow together, and push each other to new limits.
Together, we’re going to build strength behind every strike, the iron lungs to endure rounds of padwork, bagwork, and sparring, and the speed and power that sets you apart from the rest. But above all, this challenge is about more than just pushing our physical limits — it's about testing our minds, and forging the resilience of a fighter.
