So soo thankful I've joined this challenge! This had greatly helped me take a step further in my fitness journey as well as introduced me in the world of calisthenics! Nancy had explained well the exercises and were easy to understand! The daily challenges were beginner friendly, and are doable especially if you are eager enough to learn. Had learned a lot from this challenge! Fallen a little bit in the middle of the challenge due to life matters, however still determined to pickup where I left off, and finish what's left! Would definitely incorporate the exercises in my routine. In addition, the community members were so supportive to one another and gave off really good vibes! 100% would recommend the challenge!

I thoroughly enjoyed the user-friendly interface and the supportive community in this challenge. It was a fantastic experience overall, except for some confusion regarding the submitted photos. The creator of the challenge and the rules for photo submission seemed to differ, which was a bit perplexing. Despite this minor issue, I managed to submit the photos with one of the captions. I highly recommend this challenge to anyone interested in incorporating calisthenics into their fitness routine. I intend to integrate it into my regular gym routine to enhance my strength and overall fitness. Amazing šŸ‘

Didnā€™t get to try it out :( but it looked well organized and community chat looked like it was a safe place to interact with others

I'm travelling and don't have options for two of the exercises on pull day, would love a small note on good alternatives without any equipment Most days seem a bit easy but I get it that it's for people without any experience with weights and hope there will be a follow up course with harder exercises

I wanted to improve myself but I have no experience nor do I have the knowledge for it. Also lacked motivation a lot, but this challenge is helping me on all aspects and is really great.

I feel like some exercises were hard to do at home like body weight rows and tricep dips. I also wish we got tips on nutrition/rest times/ or gym versions of each workout

I liked the workouts, but the example videos were really fast and I wish they started from a neutral position so you can watch HOW to get into correct position. I also wish there was more interaction from the creator. I understand not popping into the community every day or responding to everyone, but maybe doing a weekly check in even if it's just to make an encouraging post and maybe address 1 or 2 questions that came up a lot during the week would've been really nice. A lot of people had questions during the challenge and we had to use each other for answers, which was fine for community building, but we don't know if we're receiving correct information.

Shame that technique is written down instead of said in video, also too much sessions in a week for a beginner

Super short videos (2-3 seconds) and many of them are filmed in a way that you canā€™t see any details on how to place your hands etc. Text description for the exercises only in the first week, if you want to check them later on you always have to go back to this week. Also very short and lacking details like common mistakes etc. You can get much more detailed instructions for free. :-/ It all seems put together kind of halfhearted. The exercises are okay, the community was nice.

As a beginner, I initially had a lot of fun with the Calisthenics Challenge, but I felt there was a lack of structure and progression throughout. A major reason I joined was for the community, and I expected Nancy to be more active. She was present for the first week and a half, but then disappeared, only reappearing when the challenge ended. It felt a bit like she forgot about us. I understand she was busy moving to L.A. and had a lot going on, but I still wish she had been more engaged with the community throughout the challenge.

Not as beginner-friendly as advertised. Most exercises have only one regression (usually called "easier"), many don't have a video demonstration, some have no regressions at all, disregarding participants that face any type of pain or limitating condition requiring adjustments. The videos demonstrations are very short in length (some are only 2 seconds long!), and Solin doesn't loop them, making understanding the movements a frustrating task. This workout also requires you to have a pillar or column at home (no alternatives given). The "community" supposed to cheer you on along the way is a forum with no search engine, faulty notifications, and an endless scroll. Post it once, good luck finding it again. Solin was overall extremely funky to use, and it would take me minutes just to log in my progress. I do not recommend this to any true beginner to calisthenics ā€” you might be better off with free online workouts with tons of progressions (the exercises are usually the same as those you'd find in this challenge) and a random discord server to keep you accountable. At least I know I would.
